We must makeourviews heard, again Dear Friends, According to reports in the newspaper Shanghai Daily News, on Ocotber the 6th a bullfight would take place in the Shanghai Stadium. Well according to the same newspaper, dated 28/9/2004 the bullfight did not take place and was rescheduled to 23/24th October at Yangpu Stadium. Yangpu belongs to Shanghai district. The article is not very clear therefore we transcribe it. Stop the bull THE city's first bullfight was rescheduled from October 23-24 at Yangpu Stadium in Yangpu District. The event was originally to run during the National Day holiday at Shanghai Stadium. It was postponed by the Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau as Spain is listed with mad cow disease. Organizers will use eight bulls from Mexico instead. http://216.239.59.104/search? q=cache:K6fj_lK496IJ:www.shanghaidaily.com/online/2.pdf+Shanghai+++bu llfight & hl=en Please continue to send emails to prevent this barbarity. I wish to express my dismay that you are intending to allow the murder of six innocent animals. You should be aware that this bullfight will irrevocably stain the image and reputation of your city as well as your country as host of the Olympic Games of 2008. Throughout the world the number of people that fight for a better and more compassionate society grows daily. You still have time to change your minds and prevent this bullfight. Please show the world that you respect living animals, and the people that are fighting for a better world. Hoping for a positive answer. Yours sincerely Name/Country
