That story really, really made me cry. What really moved me was the part

about the mother dog bidding her child's eyes goodbye. That... that just

tore my heart, to think of what happened later.........

 

I forwarded it to everyone I know. Thank you for sharing this. Sometime

later, I received messages from some people who said that they were inspired

to start volunteering at the local shelters. I, meanwhile, am still

searching for a good shelter.
