Its message? Shark's-fin soup, a pricey Asian delicacy, is not only threatening endangered sharks, it can also be bad for your health. Angry Chinese restaurant owners retorted with a $2.7 million lawsuit - just dismissed last month - against the group for claiming that shark fins contain high levels of mercury. full story: http://www.csmonitor.com/2004/0907/p06s02-woap.html -- Your Portal to Animal Concerns Forum (discussion board), More News Headlines, Events, E-Mail Lists, Jobs, and Organizations!
