Some more things to ponder ..

Why are no criminal charges pending?**

Why does Kevin Lazarus still have his job as director of Taiping Zoo?

Why does Pretoria Zoo, a zoo with an appalling record of gorilla care and no

history of gorilla conservation to my knowledge, win the lottery with these

4 gorillas?

Why would these " castrating " or " dumping off into the wild to die " rumors

about Limbe be out there, if not to somehow try to justify something that

simply can't be justified?

**True story: I'm reminded of a newspaper story I read while in South Africa

in 1984, as part of my then-job as travel planner for a prestigeous tour

company. The article described the scene off in a ditch, where a car was

riddled with bullet holes, the victims were decapitated and gruesome details

were described. At the end of the story, it said, and I'm not kidding, I

quote verbatim: " Foul play is suspected. "

Ya think??

I
