Guest guest
Animals Asia has begun a comprehensive investigation of animal markets in Asia which will help us better understand the traffic and trade in wild, domesticated and endangered species. A profile will be developed of animals traded and consumed, together with information regarding the practices and traditions behind the industry as a whole. Products for the meat, fur and Traditional Medicine industries will be researched and documented and approaches will be made to Government authorities to better understand regulations, enforcement, penalties and prosecutions and how, as a non-government organisation, Animals Asia can best use our resources to help the animals of Asia. Our investigation aims to address the problems highlighted in our " Friends...or Food " , and Project Asia campaigns and particularly towards ending the consumption trade in wild animals and cats and dogs.
