Guest guest
Hi everyone, I received this message on one of the care2 café discussions. I have been writing to this person about the markets in Korea, SARS, the torture to produce adrenaline, the consumption of dogs, cats and wild animals etc.. I gave her the link to http://itstheirdestiny.2kat.net in previous messages. It did shock me about the way some people can be so ignorant. By the name I can see that this girl must be from Holland or Belgium. I would like to give her a good answer, can anyone help me? Erh, it is pretty heartbreaking, yeah. Did not eat anything there, though. I did not know about the torturing, or the idea that the dog has to be full of adrenaline to be healthiest. Funny coincidence, I am currently living in south KOrea, I will ask some people here about this. In principle, I am not against eating these kinds of meat, but there are two conditions: one should not eat endangered species (eg. whales,...), and the killing should be painless (quick, efficient, and no torturing practices as described in the article you mentioned) I have tried bosint'ang once ( " body-protecting soup, now called yongyangt'ang: nutritious soup) or the dogsoup. It was actually rather tasty. Most people think I am cruel to eat sweet little doggies. Hey, it was only once, and when in Rome... I think rabbits are even cuter, and those are even tastier! (am I bad?)
Guest guest
Thank you. I have already answered her a pretty similar message to yours, but I want to have more info so that I can give her a proper answer. Thanks for forwarding the e-mail to Elly, maybe she can help me with more information about this issue. > By consuming such animals she is then supporting the act of cruelty... > one doesn't have to torture or kill to be accessory to the act !
