Dear Friends

Further to the ITD Update of 22nd January 2003 (in

which we revealed that the Swiss laws allow the eating

of dogs and cats), we have learnt that the Swiss

Animal Protection Laws are due to be revised this

summer.

Our colleagues at Sirius GAO (now a registered

charity) have created a petition demanding that the

Swiss Govt. address this vital issue during this

revision.

Can we please ask you to sign this petition to show

Switzerland just how important this issue is to people

outside their borders. Only international pressure

will ensure that this loop-hole in their otherwise

model animal welfare laws is closed once and for all.

The address of the petition is

Please visit Sirius' site at http://sirius.2kat.net

for info on other ways to help and to give them your

support!

Our continued thanks to all of you for caring.

From all the team at ITD

Dogs brighten our life with their gift to love and bond. It is our turn to help

our dogs. Please help organisations who are fighting to get dogs out of food

chain.
