Pamela Anderson wears lettuce bikini in protest

Pamela Anderson has posed in a bikini made of three lettuce leaves for

an animal rights poster campaign.

 

The promotion for the campaign group People for the Ethical Treatment of

Animals reads: " Turn over a new leaf: Try vegetarian. "

 

Anderson attended the Vienna Opera Ball this week, and used the event to

speak out against fur.

 

She said: " A lot of people that wear fur are just not knowledgeable

about all the pain and suffering that goes into making fur coats. "

 

Anderson was accompanied at the high society event by Dan Mathews, a

leading member of Peta. She said: " Dan and I go everywhere together,

because I know he'll make a difference. "

 

She told reporters there was another reason for inviting Mathews,

adding: " My fiance or boyfriends at the time never get jealous because

Dan is gay. "

 

Anderson was invited to the ball by Austrian playboy Dickie Lugner - a

move organisers complained would lower the tone of the event.
