Just under 90% of students said they would be willing to have North Koreans as

“close friends” while 94% said they would welcome North Koreans as next-door

neighbours.

North Koreans topped the list of countries students would like to make friends

with at 90%, followed by Americans with 85%, Chinese with 83%, Russians with

BANGKOK: Thai police said yesterday they had seized 54 pangolins and arrested

four smugglers who confessed they were sending the scaly anteaters to China

where they were destined to be butchered and eaten.

The pangolins were found in two pick-up trucks in Nonthaburi.

The smugglers confessed to charges of trafficking protected wildlife and said

they were taking the animals to northeastern Khon Kaen province where they were

to be sent over the border into Laos and then onto China, police said. & #8211;
