Action plan for humane stray dog control

Place : Ceylon Petroleum Corporation at Kolonnnawa in Sri lanka

 

The Public Health Veterinary Division killed 67 dogs using poison

injections.They have used poisoned meat also to kill the dogs in the

premises.Army officers were feeding two dogs and keeping them as pets.They

have died after consuming that meat.Some crows also died after eating the

poisoned meat.

One dog has bitten two or three people .These people were given the human

antirabies vaccine .

According to the reports the brain of the particular dog was not examined.

The dog killers were just killing large number of dogs to make more money.

 

Wspa and Kacpaw of Sri lanka has chosen Public Health Veterinary Director

Harischandra to form an action plan for humane stray dog control of Sri

Lanka . As a result they are also responsible

for these cruel incidences.They have helped a dog killer .
