The main tank of the new facility has a window that is 22.5 meters long, 8.2 meters high and 60 cm thick making it the biggest in the world. “We are planning to register this panel with Guinness Book publishers at the end of August, and we should get their confirmation within about six months,” an official at the Expo Park said. The new aquarium is the largest in Asia and one of the largest in the world having about 75,000 tons of water in its tanks. The main attraction of the facility will be three whale sharks, the first of which was transferred to its new home July 22.
