Yet again, the Chinese condemn themselves with their own words and graphic

pictures. Yet again, we are forced to put our feelings aside - there is no

way to comprehend the atrocious treatment of cats and dogs in China. The fur

coat worn by the Chinese woman below looks very much like German Shepherd.

These beautiful animals are being bred on a huge scale in the north of

China. When a dog is killed, its hair immediately begins to shed. This would

not produce skins of the quality that the Chinese require. Pictures exist of

the slaughter of one, if it could be called that. Skinning an animal alive

so the coat does not shed for the fur trade does not constitute slaughter!

are not available.

 

We would urge you to PLEASE write letters of strong complaint to your Trade

Ministers wherever you live. Banning the importation of fur and leather

products from ANY Asian country is a big start in the fight for these

animals. Please...for the sake of the animals.....write these letters and

lobby your Ministers.

Australia has recently been successful in banning the export of dogs to any

country for food - miracles do happen!
