Guest guest
Mr Wheler in your e.mail you have written following things " You, on the other hand for whatever reason, seem determined to frustrate the work of both organisations and the government of Sri Lanka! Should any of us be influenced by your remarks and therefore put a stop to our programme, the losers in this action would be the animals. Perhaps for some myterious reason, this is your real objective? your methods of preventing humane work taking place in Sri Lanka really are. It is indeed extremely regrettable that you have chosen to place yourself in opposition to the work of animal welfare organisations, when as a veterinarian, all of us in Sri Lanka and the internationally community would have liked to have counted upon your support. " Mr Wheeler you have been rude and cruel trying to hide your real intention that is Champa and you have chosen to help animal abuserDr Harischandra .I am sending this e.mail I sent to you on the 29th of May .So any body who read this letter can see that I never want to stop WSPA programme. Apart from that I wrote a letter to the Minister of Health with a copy to you on the 01of June 2002 titled Violation ofRabies Ordinance and mentioned at the end Dr harischandra and veterinary surgeon of Kotte Municipal were deliberately violating the animal birth control programme .If the World Health Organisation or WSPA or the government has aplan for humane stray dog control it could be done with the Director General of Health Services and Provincial Directors and Regional Directors of Health ..They have already demontrated their interest in using birth control methods. You are a very cruel person who will destroy any body to achieve your goal.Dr hatrischandra and you have same principals . birds of the same feather will flock together. We will bear your comments in mind and thank you for your continued interest in our work. Regards Trevor santhak [santhak] 29 May 2002 05:52 Trevor Wheeler Cc: hisjpr; DeepashreeBalaram Wspa Conference in Sri Lanka Dear Mr Wheeler, I think Mrs Christine Townend of Help in Suffering would be the best person to speak at WSPA meeting in September. I met her at Asia for animal conference and I was amazed and she presented her work nicely. later I requested her to get help for a Buddhist priest at kautara who has a small animal shelter. She was very kind to help him with financial assistance.I believe she helped the Kacpaw also when she visited Sri lanka in December. It would be an honour for WSPA and for our country if she can be a speaker for this conference because she has helped our animals silently without seeking publicity.I have visited her shelter in Jaipur and the elephant work shop they have organised. So we hope that animal abuser would be removed from the speakers list. The new Director General of Health can carry out the programme with Provincial Directors of health . Kala >
