Guest guest
fwd..... Hi everyone, For those who missed it, last week's Foreign Correspondent did a story on the imminent ban on fox and stag hunting with hounds in the UK. It was reasonably balanced and interviewed people from both sides and also showed graphic footage of foxes and stags being hunted and caught. The stag in particular was very sad to watch. I got the impression it was bewildered and did not really know it was being hunted until the hounds actually attacked it. Anyway, among those interviewed was British MP Tony Banks, who voiced his opposition to all blood sports. He did not speak like a boring politician merely mouthing the words he had been pressured into saying - he was passionate and spoke with conviction that it should stop and that society today should not allow such cruel events to take place. It isn't very often we get to say thank you to politicians, especially politicians who speak as brilliantly as Tony Banks (except for our very own Andrew of course!) so please drop him a line and let him know he's appreciated across the other side of the world, and pass this onto as many people as you can.Tony Banks' email address is gordone Thanks Wendy
