Asian turtles

Hello everyone,

There is a new website concerned with the Asian trade in

freshwater turtles which I would recommend. It can be found at the

following address: http://www.chelonia.org This is the homepage of

the World Chelonia Trust. Click on 'Articles' then 'An Overview of the

Animal Markets of China'

 

The market pages are particularly concerned with turtles but other

species are also recorded.

 

If anybody has time, I would be very interested in collecting photographs

and reports from other wildlife markets throughout Asia for inclusion in

further reports to be displayed on this site. I would be interested in

information such as location, size, species available, whether they are

for food or pets and photographs. I can be contacted through my email

address dbkenw and will be happy to give out more

information.
