Hi All,

My ISP was advertising allrecipes as site of the day.

I looked at the site and it has some yummy veg recipes in the vegetarian

section.

The recipes are reviewed in some cases and I think people can submit recipes

as well.

I also found some good vegan recipes at

Here is a recipe from all recipes that looks great

" These burgers can be baked, grilled, or fried. Great served on a bun

with avocado, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. "

1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 carrots, sliced

2 cups salsa

1 cup dried bread crumbs

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

salt to taste

1 pinch chili powder

Directions

1 Steam carrot until soft.

2 Mash beans and steamed carrot in a large bowl. Mix in green pepper, onion,

salsa, bread crumbs, and whole wheat flour. Season with salt, black pepper,

and chili powder. Add flour to create a firmer mixture, or more salsa if the

mixture is too stiff.

3 Form mixture into patties.

4 Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until

browned.

(This recipe looks great although people who reviewed the recipe said the

burgers

were better fried than baked.)

Makes 8 to 10 burgers
