Guest guest
According to an article published Feb. 24 in The (Sydney) Sunday Telegraph, the first shipment of greyhounds bound for South Korea was scheduled to leave Sydney Airport March 4. The TMW Communications Group, headed by Tim Michael, will be supplying greyhounds to Spa Corporation, which will conduct events on a track outside of Seoul, South Korea. The track opening is scheduled for April 13 and there will be dog racing representatives in attendance from America, Australia, Italy, Ireland, Russia and Vietnam. Within three years, TMW expects to be exporting 3,000 greyhounds a year to Korea to supply four additional racetracks. Please help prevent this by going to the www.ameugreyhoundalliance.org for addresses and sample letters or you may wish to write your own, to send to the Australian greyhound industry in order to stop the export of greyhounds to Asia.
