Guest guest
Date 11:22 Mar 19 Subject LIBERATE: Anti Game Bill rally tomorrow!! IMPORTANT!! An email to rs of the Animal Liberation NSW mailing list ____ THE RALLY AT PARLIAMENT HOUSE TOMORROW IS VERY IMPORTANT The Hon Richard Jones MLC said: " This is the most important bill to stop. If you only go to one rally every 20 years, please make sure this is the one .. " He's made a personal request for animal supporters to attend the anti-Game Bill 2001 Rally outside the gates of Parliament House (NSW), 12:00 midday, Wednesday 20th March. I cannot overemphasise just how important it is to be there at midday on We dnesday even if only for half an hour. Please also bring friends, neighbour s, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, workmates etc, anyone who cares remotely about cruelty to animals. A Liberal member, a supporter of the animals, said you must get lots of people out there. They actually count the numbers. If we have only twenty out there, the Bill will go through. If we have a couple of hundred we have a chance of stopping it. It may be the most important demo you have ever been to. If this pro-killing-for-pleasure bill goes through in this State, the other States will inevitably follow. In addition we have to write, each one of us, to the Premier to tell him of our disgust with the bill. Richard Amery (Minister for Agriculture) is not conversant with the detail of the bill. He won't drop it. He may not have even read it or have any idea what it actually does. We have to let the Premier know personally that the bill, if passed, will cost them many many more animal/conservation/environment/gun control votes than they will gain from a handful of blood sport enthusiasts. See you on Wednesday midday outside Parliament. Best wishes Richard ____ Find out more about the plight of animals!
