To help protect the Northeast China tigers and other State-protected wild

animals, the Huichun municipal government released livestock into the city's

nature protection zones in Northeast China's Jilin Province, Guangzhou

Evening News reports.

The municipal government will compensate farmers for domestic animals killed

by predators.

Huichun has at least 10 Northeast China tigers in the wild.
