Greyhound racing in Vietnam /Cambodia/korea /china

I am writing concerning the development of the sick and cruel blood sport

greyhound racing and the expansion in Asia. The greyhound industry are

profiting at the expense of the dogs lives. They plan to introduce the so

called sport to countries were there are no animal protection such as the

recent introduction to vietnam and Cambodia plans for Korea are in the

pipeline, Philippines and China. For further info check out

In the west there is a huge rehoming problem as there are so many dogs bred

for racing 90% are bred in Ireland. The dogs are treated worse then slaves

40,000 are murdered ever year in the UK alone. Greyhound racing has been

banned in 7 states in America and we are working hard to ensure that other

countries become aware of the cruelty involved and ban it. My concern is for

all dogs world-wide which is why the development of greyhound racing must be

stopped especially when it is apparent that they will end up in the dog meat

markets tortured and murdered for human consumption.

Are there any animal rights groups in Vietnam or Cambodia or any

organisation

that is already aware of the expansion and are planning on action to stop

it?

I would really appreciate your co-operation.
