Kala http://www.island.lk The Island Internet edition E.mail gamini Tuesday 14th August 2000 page 4 Stray dogs Killed On a directive issued by the Mayor of kotte Chandra de Silva all stray dogs are being killed by the Kotte Municipality`s veterinary Surgeons.The killing is done in an inhumane manner being injected with strychnine which is a highly poisonous vegetable alkaloid.
