Guest guest
From Yitzeling to all my animal friends who gave me the answers to my query on care for a white throated kingfisher, thank you for all your kind assistance. I appreciate that very much. Here's the feedback from the doctor who took care of the bird. - Thank you all for your kind assistance. I must thank you very much for the trouble taken and the quick reply. The answers that I have got were very comprehensive and useful and they will serve as reference. I did not know what I was getting into when I took pity on that poor bird. Fortunately for it - it has died. I was dressing and feeding it for about 5 days but one day when I came home I found it dead. Don't know why. But now from what I read I know that it had a major injury because the broken bone was protruding out from the wound and its feathers were damaged. I don't think I could have handled it - did not realise that birds were so complicated and when they are injured it is even more difficult to handle them. Mammals are easier, any time. I will file this from them for future references - and once again, thanks. Wished it could have ended happier, though. --- Dr.Leong _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
