Guest guest
"Ripley's Believe it or Not" featured a Chinese religious Vegetarian sect performing strange (self-hypnosis?) rituals in their annual public street parade in Phuket which celebrates their vegetarianism and delivery from some disaster in the 19th century. What was interesting is the body-piercing with humongous objects such as large-diameter pipes through the cheeks. Even more remarkable was the report that these wounds healed almost without trace within two days. Is this due to their vegetarian diet, and if so, does anyone have details please? This will be valuable for medical applications for wound recovery and healing. Thank you kindly
