Pizza 'sin' for Muslim family 17 JULY 2001

The Pizza Haven company could consider grabbing a copy of the Muslim

Shariah (Law) to defend what is a suggested to be an attempt for a free ride to

Mecca at the expense of non-Muslims - a typical ploy.

 

Muslims are required to eat halaal foods, and not frequent non-Muslim

food outlets or eat non-halaal food made by non-Muslims. Hence, the

claim is dubious. If a Muslim chooses to eat outside of his/her halaal

environment, then he/she does so at their own risk. Can they prove

they themselves did not introduce the alleged bacon into the

Pizza? Finally, since no-one else seems to have complained, it is

strange that they alone have been singled out to suffer such terrible "sin" ...

 

Lastly, they should consider returning to their country of origin and

be free of all the threats posed by an environment they are clearly

not meant to be in.
