The tests, some of which startedin 1996 have ended."They have really good personalities-they have to be friendly to be inthe study," said De Nae Koble, a lab worker for the college. "They havenames, they have buddies, they have toys."Veterinary medicine student and employees provide baths, health care andshelter for the animals through an agreement with APC Company officials.Iowa State spokesman Steve Sullivan said good homes would be found forthe calico kittens, Brittany spaniel dogs, chows and german shepherdmixes.
