The conference, to be held in Hamilton, New Zealand, has the title " Learning, animals and the environment: Changing the face of the future " and is promoted as being of interest " to anyone interested in how we learn, communicate and evolve the relationships between ourselves and the natural world. Conference strands are primary & secondary education; tertiary education and research & teaching; future challenges; care & regulation (the latter strand is to explore ways in which society should move forward in dealing with the regulatory aspects of animals and the environment). Anyone interested in attending can get the registration details from ANZCCART by emailing: anzccart or writing to the Executive Officer, ANZCCART, c/- The Royal Society of NZ, PO Box 598, Wellington, NZ. Registration closes on June 15th for the Conference that will be held June 28-29 June 2001.
