Asian countries are striving to make advances in these areas by benefiting from lessons learned mainly in the West. Environmental conservation including animal over-population control and welfare, and unfettered global trade in endangered species and its perceived effects must be addressed. And addressed they will be at the 'Asia for Animals Symposium' . The symposium will cover all these issues through forums, practical sessions and workshops, and in addition attendees will benefit through the opportunity to network with other people involved in animal welfare within the Asia Pacific region.
