FIFA- the Federation of International Football Association have been

notified that Korea is not a suitable place to hold the Soccer World Cup in

2002 due to their complete lack of anything called " humane " for their

treatment of companion animals.

Keith Cooper, Director of Communication has written back that they have

received several letters on this issue and have brought it to the attention

of their partners in the Korean World Cup Organising Committee. In his

letter he says " we have been informed that dog meat is eaten by a declining

minority of Koreans, and these dogs are, of course, not ordinary household

dogs but are bred specifically for this purpose... " -- as if that's a

consideration

If you haven't already written to him please do so. We want them talking

about the issue to such an extent that they do something about it.
