Enjoy Jenn Ottawa, Ontario, Canada http://tlotc.dhs.org/jenn/ * Exported from MasterCook * Foot Refresher Recipe By : Vegetarian Times Magazine, January 1997, page 66 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beauty Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- foot tub water 5 drops essential oil of lemon or lavender -- up to 10 OR camphor or peppermint or rosemary OR juniper or eucalyptus 1/2 cup sea or table salt enough marbles to cover bottom of foot tub Excellent for aching feet, this also is a good cold and flu remedy, says Stephanie Tourles. If you've got the sniffles, make the foot bath as hot as you can stand. Add eucalyptus or peppermint essential oil, then wrap yourself in a quilt and breathe in the steam while you soak. Using either very hot or very cold water, fill up foot tub and add essential oil and salt. Add marbles, soak feet for 15 to 20 minutes while gently rolling then, back and forth across marbles. Occasionally grasp and release marbles with toes to stretch and relax the feet. Rub feet dry and apply a heavy moisturizer. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
