Guest guest
Hi here is a nice alternative to the otherwise high fat guacamole, add a little bit of tobasco or chili sauce to give it a little more zest. the whole recipe is less the 1 point ( 0.95 points). Try this as a pita sandwich topper with canned refried beans ( or just mash kidey beans) lettuce, tomato, and this on a pita bread and there you'd have a 2-3 point sandwich Enjoy Jenn Ottawa, Ontario, Canada http://tlotc.dhs.org/jenn/ * Exported from MasterCook * BROCCOMOLE Recipe By : Mark Sutton Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Done By Dotties Calculator Low-Fat Sauces <1 Point Meatless Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups broccoli stalks -- cooked tough outer layer peeled off 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice -- freshlt sqeezed 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 tomato -- diced 1 scallion -- sliced 1 green chile -- canned, chopped In a food processor, blend the broccoli stems with the lemon juice, cumin, and garlic powder until completely smooth.
