We are too tired after work to cook much too. This is what I made for dinner last night. It is very simple, very low fat and a favorite recipe--almost a comfort food. I always have these ingredients in the cupboard. * Exported from MasterCook * Cheesy Chili Mac Recipe By : FatFree Mailing List #37, 2/96 (Revised slightly) Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes, Vegetarian Pasta, Couscous, Etc. Quick Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 package Macaroni & Cheese Dinner (Kraft) 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni 15 ounces chili beans with spices, canned 14 1/2 ounces tomatoes (pasta style), canned 1 each bell pepper -- coarsely chopped 1 each onion -- coarsely chopped Cook the macaroni from the box and the additional macaroni. Meanwhile, saute the onion and green pepper in water. Add tomatoes and beans and heat through. Sprinkle the cheese powder over drained macaroni in a big bowl. Stir to coat.
