Guest guest
Last week I said I was sending this sauce, but sent two copies of a different sauce instead. Here is the missing sauce which you will want for some of the recipes in Vegetarian Grill: * Exported from MasterCook * Sesame Dipping Sauce Recipe By : Vegetarian Grill, by Andrea Chesman, page 285 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Sauces And Marinades Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup tahini -- (sesame paste) 3/4 cup warm water OR more if needed 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons mirin -- (sweet rice wine) 2 garlic cloves -- minced 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger MAKES ABOUT 1 CUP With this dipping sauce passed at the table, any manner of grilled vegetables can be served over rice and made into an interesting meal with Asian flavors. It is also great as a dressing for noodles or as a dip for raw vegetables. 1. Combine the tahini, water, soy sauce, vinegar, mirin, garlic, and ginger and mix well. Add more water, if needed, to achieve the desired consistency. 2. Let stand for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend. Store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Mix well before serving. Converted by MC_Buster. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - schuller
