Tossed Shell Salad

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 3/4 cups uncooked shell macaroni

1 cup cherry tomato halves

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sliced green onions

1/2 cup pitted ripe olives -- sliced

1 medium green bell pepper -- thinly sliced

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

1 teaspoon dried whole dillweed

1 teaspoon dried whole oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

 

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold

water; drain. Combine macaroni, tomato, cheese, green onions, olives, and

green bell pepper; set aside.

Combine oil, lemon juice, vinegar, dillweed, oregano, salt, and pepper;

pour over macaroni mixture, and toss gently. Cover and chill.
