Guest guest
Karen: Would you believe I've lived in Memphis for 15 years and have never been to Graceland, never had a PB & B sandwich either......however, I don't like peanut butter! :-) Pleased you had a good time, I think we put on a pretty good weather show for you, maybe a little warm, it is glorious today. Wonder which Wild Oats you went to? The new one on Poplar, next to the Clark Tower (BIG building with flag on top) is wonderful, it has become my favorite store. Nice to have you back! I thought about it, but, nope, didn't eat any PB & Banana Sandwiches. They serve them (fried, no less) in almost all the restaurants (and fried dill pickles too--weird). We had some great food though. I was worried that we might starve since we don't eat ribs. What kind of " souvineir " do you think I brought back? A cookbook of course!! Now, I should have gotten an Elvis cookbook or at least a Memphis cookbook, I know, but noooooooooo. Most of those are not very vegetarian. I got a Jamaican (vegetarian) cookbook from Wild Oats Market. We don't have a Wild Oats here in Atlanta, so I was excited to go to the one there. More later -- I'm too tired to make much sense right now. Karen
