Guest guest
this is a great cheese sauce that can be used for mac and cheese or to put over broccoli and cauliflower. cheese sauce 3 T. butter 3 T. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 cups milk 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese over medium heat, melt butter. add flour and salt. add milk, gradually. stir until sauce becomes desired consistency. add cheese. stir until all cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. --- mytiaz <mytiaz wrote: > Anyone have a recipe they like for a yummy cheese > sauce to put onver > cauliflower or broccoli? > > Thanks, > Tia > > >
Guest guest
Hello Tia, my quick yummy cheese sauce recipe goes like this: Heat half a cup of milk and add half a teaspoon of turmeric, 100g of sheep/goat cheese (that’s white cheese made of both sheep’s and goat’s milk) and small chunks of one peeled red bell pepper. Heat until the cheese dissolves, then add nutmeg and sechuan pepper (pink) to your liking and simmer until the aroma has developed and the sauce has thickened. For a cauliflower sauce i add some fresh herbs from my little „garden“ shortly before serving: basil and oregano, cut into strips, as well as some cilantro (that’s coriander leaves), mint, dill and parsley. Enjoy :-) Vanessa --- mytiaz <mytiaz wrote: Anyone have a recipe they like for a yummy cheese sauce to put onver cauliflower or broccoli? Thanks, Tia ________________ Gesendet von Mail - http://mail..de Logos und Klingeltöne fürs Handy bei http://sms..de
