Guest guest Posted April 10, 2003 Report Share Posted April 10, 2003 Creamed Corn And Cheddar Cornbread 1 cup Cornmeal 1 cup Flour 1 Tablespoon Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 3/4-cup milk 1 Egg, lightly beaten 1 cup Creamed corn 1 1/2 cup Cheddar, grated 2 Tablespoons Butter Preheat oven 425 Serve this hearty bread with soup or chili. Place a large cast iron skillet in the oven. Mix together all ingredients (except the butter). Add the butter to the hot pan until just melted. Pour the mixture into the hot pan.
