Guest guest
Spicy Lentil Soup Ingredients 2 garlic cloves 1 onion 2 cans crushed tomatoes 1 cup red lentils 1 can coconut milk 2 tsp. Lemon juice A pinch of turmeric 1 tsp. Garam masala A pinch of chili powder 1 tsp. Cumin Salt to taste Directions Saute the onion and garlic for 3 minutes, and measure all the spices into a small bowl. Add them all at once to the onions, and stir for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes, lentils, and coconut milk. Boil for 30 minutes until the lentils are soft, adding more water if necessary. Add the lemon juice, salt to taste, and more chili powder if desired. Hot tip: if you pre-cook the lentils in your pressure cooker, this soup is ready as soon as the coconut milk comes to boil(about 10 minutes total). _______________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
