Guest guest Posted August 30, 2002 Report Share Posted August 30, 2002 Wheat-Flecked Biscuits Ingredients Nonstick cooking spray or shortening 1 cup packaged biscuit mix 1/4 cup whole wheat flour 2 tablespoons sunflower nuts (optional) 1/2 cup plain yogurt Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray or grease with shortening. In a mixing bowl combine biscuit mix, whole wheat flour, and sunflower nuts, if desired. Stir in yogurt just until mixture is moistened. 2. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Bake in the 450 degree F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Makes about 8 biscuits.
