Guest guest Posted January 15, 2002 Report Share Posted January 15, 2002 Pot Pie Pie Crust** 2 1/2 c. Flour (1 c. Wheat, 1 c. White, 1/2 c. Powered Milk) 1/3 c. Water 2/3 c. Oil 1 tsp. Salt Sift flour and salt. Mix rest of ingredients together with fork in a bowl. Form into a well mixed ball, split evenly into two. Roll out onto wax paper. Place one layer into pie tin. Save second layer for top crust. Pot Pie Filling** 1/4 c. Margarine 1/4 c. Flour 1 c. soy Milk 1 c. Water with 2 tsp. Mckays Chicken style Seasoning added 1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots or mixed vegetables 1 can of sliced Olives 1 can 4oz Mushrooms Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt Margarine in pot, blend flour and salt into Margarine. Cook at medium heat until bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and broth, heat to boiling. Stir 1 minute. Should be thick. Stir vegies. Pour into prepared pie tin. Place top layer of pie crust on pot pie. Bake 1 hour till golden brown. Serves 6 Language is an expression of thought.
