Serve with hot spiced tea. Best if made with very ripe mangoes. Preparation hint: For a delicate result, slice mangoes as thinly as possible. Simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Peel mangoes and slice. Arrange mangoes on individual plates with the rice beside them. Spoon sauce over the rice.
