Guest guest
April 30 2009 15:10 PST I've watched enough porno's to realize that there are many uses for vegetables. But now there is a new one, which might be surprising to some. There is now such a thing as a veggie-rubber. No don't worry your Jimmy isn't made out of broccoli or anything. Basically what this means is that it's a condom without the milk-based casing found in other condoms. This makes it vegan friendly and even caries the vegan logo. Kind of makes me wonder what they were using before these were invented. Did they just rubber band Zip-loc bags to their Johnson's? The inventors of the botanical prophylactics are brothers Shanip and Ketan Shah. They're using this as an initiative to encourage young people to use the Fusion condoms for safe sex. According to Shanip Shah " Vegans might not have realized there's a milk extract in most condoms. We want to help this group make an informed choice about safe sex. " As of right now these are being marketed to the 180,000 British vegans, who don't eat dairy products (or anything that has a pulse) also, and three million vegetarians. According to the brothers, a number of health food stores have recently placed orders of Fusion condoms with the brand gaining popularity across the country due to its " vegan " status. If this wasn't enough these lovely condoms are also environment friendly. The Fusion condoms are packaged in cardboard. I haven't seen the boxes, but it sounds unromantic. Hell that alone might be some form of contraception. That aside the combination of vegan and environment friendly means that it could be the likely choice for environmentally aware young people; that happen to have a preference for safe sex. All this thing needs now is a Morrissey endorsement...no never mind, but the irony of it is hilarious. What do you guys think about this? Are you excited? Or are you waiting for people to prove that they actually work? Sound off in our comments section. The time has come for spinach flavored condoms! kylesf411 May 01, 2009 02:35 PST I've been reading a lot about this the past few days, but I'm wondering what is so newsworthy about it? There have been vegan condoms on the market for years already. sugardoll May 01, 2009 01:41 PST what next?????
