Is Simon vegan or a least vegetarian?

just curious because I saw him doing an ad for Peta I think it was anti-fur or something. It was one of those ads that pop up in the middle of a free program on the internet.

not that i know of....and lordy knows i can't stand even watching the american idol "round up" on the morning "news" the next morn...

but, i have seen some video of Simon saying not leave yer dog in the car..soooo
