Guest guest
Well, the bees make the honey for their winter sustenance, and beekeepers take it and give them a sugar water solution that is nutritionally inferior. Bees are often killed during the harvesting of the honey and beeswax. Also queen bees are inseminated on rape racks, just like many other animals kept for their flesh, milk, and eggs. Bees are moved from hive to hive, and when production declines, the bees are killed. Guest guest
what she said and, bee hives are often " culled " in the fall..the keeper will slaughter most of the bees, just keeping the queen and few workers, that way he doesn't have to feed them thru the winter...just leaving enough to repopulate come spring honey production today is not a whole lot different from modern factory farming vegan-network , " Danielle Kichler " <veggietart wrote: > > Well, the bees make the honey for their winter sustenance, and beekeepers > take it and give them a sugar water solution that is nutritionally inferior. > Bees are often killed during the harvesting of the honey and beeswax. > Also queen bees are inseminated on rape racks, just like many other animals > kept for their flesh, milk, and eggs.
