Guest guest
Hi all, apparently they're reviewing food labelling standards, so won't you take a moment to tell them you want clearer labelling of foods suitable for vegans - or alternatively labels such as " Contains cows milk " , " Contains eggs " etc? The latter option has the added advantage of helping out those with food allergies or religious stipulations. And it might also make life easier for future vegans too eh? Guest guest
Here in the States, some companies do have at the bottom of the ingredient list that it contains milk/eggs/wheat/soy--whatever potentional allergens it may have, which makes my life easier. I also check the cholesterol count, 'cause if it's not 0, it ain't vegan. Course, not all cholesterol-free products are vegan, but it's not a bad first step. You still have to check for bee products, though, as they apparently are not considered allergens.
