Thanks, it means a lot that some vegans seem to understand!

I don't understand why so many others here get uptight when I simply

advocate stronger bonds with other vegans in their local areas, as if

I am somehow threatening their love and care for their meat-eating

families and friends. Do most vegans not have enough love to go round

to extend to fellow local vegans? Sadly where I live, it seems like

they don't.

i don't think anyone said that lesley

communication break down

wot i heard was " that seemed like a horrid group to be with "

vegans are just like other folks..some of them are certainly much more fun then

others...

ok..lets look at it this way..

i'm a veg...been vegan...crap..8 yrs maybe..veggie 13 yrs...

now, you and i have bloody nuthin in common, besides we both don't eat flesh

after that, wot would you and i talk about?? we have different politics, musical

tastes, we probably walk different, lordy knows you probably have an horrid

accent

*giggle*

now, on one hand, differences are grand, it brings spice, change is good

different people are great, doin the same thing all the time doesn't lead to

growth..but, hanging out and livin with folks 24/7 when all you have in common

is diet, could get sorta drainin
