Guest guest
Sorry if it sounds trite but ain't the general idea to love the sinner but not the sin? > I for one could never love a meat eater. It seems to me that what you've > done, for purposes of convenience, is to etc etc etc sell out. You know, 15 years or more down the line I have to accept that some people *cant* be vegan or they would get really sick. That at different times people have to have different priorities or else they would break. And *even* that some omnivores are more balanced people than some vegans. Hard as it is to swollow. I might not want to snog them but that they are better people. People are amalgams of many different pieces for many different reasons. I may not chomp beasties but I know that there are many many folk that run rings around me in doing general good to alleviate other sufferings. Plank in eye et al John An easy going sense of humour impresses the opposition much more than high strung morals that they just pluck on with pleasure to see if they can break. Remembering this vegan macrobiotic guy I knew that used to go around snatching ice creams from out of children's hands because it was going to harm them. Now that was funny... I used to work with a guy with severe learning disabilities who used to do that as well- but it was so he could eat the ice cream himself... That was funny as well tho i could never show it in public...
