Guest guest
Shell, Read Jane Plant Your Life in Your Hands. It isn't just the food, it's the plastic packaging and the water as well. Emily, The thought of parsley wine has really got me going. I love Chartreuse, gorgeous herby taste plus a kick like a mule. (Normal one is 55% proof but they do a 95% proof version as well, but never tried that ) If i Had any money I'd have a great excuse to buy a bottle to try to work out what herbs to use to get same flavour. Anybody out there who can afford the stuff and can give me a blow by blow tastebud analysis so I can try to brew my own.? It's mean to have 130 herbs and flowers and is a secret recipe handed down from monk to monk since 1700. I tried looking on that winemaking site for a parsley wine recipe http://winemaking.jackkeller.net/reques29.asp but it crashed my mac and I couldn't get back on line all night. Hurrah, she kept quiet for once. Cynthia Thank goodness, a newbie vegan makes me feel I've progressed from total ignorance to mere relative ignorance. Fraggle Now I know the difference between us is insurmountable. Marmite is a very important issue to Brits. We were weaned on it. It kept our parents going during the war. Our childhood teas were bread and marmite. Marmite made us what we are! Tahini and marmite on cranks bread is sublime. If you haven't enjoyed tomato and marmite butties you haven't lived. And watching a jar of Marmite beats wimbledon and football anyday. 8 times a day - flea spit! I kept the window open all day while working. But missed the big event of the lights being switched off. I went straight from 404 to the depths of the jar. I'm sure it's a s-cam. Shell Marmite in a stew is disgusting. Shame on you. Even I couldn't sink to those depths. Kallo stock cubes are much nicer. And you're not a true Brit unless you can take it straight on toast. C. Gadarian You gotta be joking over the hemp tests? Or am I being gullible again? I thought poppy seeds were as different to opium poppy as deadly nightshade is to potatoes. Same family but completely different chemical effect. Thought the same applied to hemp and cannabis, similar but different. Definitive answer wanted so that if the current rightwing labour government introduce cannabis breathalysers as wellas identity cards we can all crash out unconcerned. They cannot legislate aginst hemp pasta sauce! But looks like " almost " decriminalisation is on the cards anyway. Just the smoking bit that will be socially unacceptable:-) And it took me a long time to work out how to spell decriminalisation, But fraggle would do it with a z? Zee what lack of Marmite doez for you. Addlez the azdf, poor thingz. Rosanne resppect@c... wrote: > whew, for a while I thought I was the only one going back to check on it > like 8 times a day! .... Guest guest
Yes, sweetie, I find the whole thing confusing too, because no one seems to know for sure if all of my foods containing Hemp, like Hemp nut paste which is a great sub for peanut butter, will cause a positive marijuana reading in a urine test. I think they keep it confusing so that they can nail you whenever and whereever they want. So, the effect is the same, since I am subject to random urine tests, I have to remove all Hemp from my diet. I wonder if this applies to Hemp clothing and accessories as well? <just being silly> Cynthia rzanuk said: <snip>..... C. Gadarian You gotta be joking over the hemp tests?
