Guest guest Posted March 20, 2002 Report Share Posted March 20, 2002 the chain of Chinese / Thai / Oriental restaurants that is taking over London has a new " Thai - Veg " eaterie in Islington right opposite the tube. eat as much as you want for a fiver. pretty sure it is 100% vegan, the food is very good in comparison to most veg places. don¹t know who is behind this chain, some Triad guy must have converted to Buddhism and trying to launder money or something ... I just discovered a new one on Euston Road at the top of Tottenham Court Road. And I thinkt hat you are right about the MSG. they made a great change but the latest one seem just to franchises run by the same Chinese that ran all the old takeaways. heavy on oil and salt too.
