Aha! So, I'm not alone when I cast those sidelong, surreptitious glances at

the contents of other people's shopping trolleys, then? I can't believe all

of the utter crap that people will buy. How do they survive/subsist on such

diets?

Also, I must concur with the assessment that organic fruit and veg is well

worth the extra cost. I have an organic box delivered weekly. At £10.50,

it's chockfulla' goodness and I feel that it's money very well spent. :)

Hi,

I have to agree with the cost consideration re organic vs processed

foods. Although organic foods are certainly more expensive than

non-organic produce, both are a helluva lot cheaper than processed

foods.

I'm often amazed at the supermarket when I see a person ahead of me

buying nothing but processed crap and animal products, and how much it

costs! You only have to look at the price difference between raw

potatoes and potatoes chips (Lays) to see how price increases with

processing. As does fat, sugar & salt content, as an aside.

look around you

they are surviving....we in the western world(and are happily spreading it

everywhere) eat all sorts of crap, and wonder why obessity, heart attacks, high

blood preassure, and all sorts of other diseases are problems

sheeesh

could it be cancer rates are skyrocketing not only because we are polluting our

environment, but also because we are deluging our systems with all sorts of

chemicals which cause unknown syngergies in our bodies
