Guest guest
Just following up from Coral post and refering to my own. today i received a literally *inch thick* [!!!] list of all the items that Tesco stock that are vegan. it almost broke my mail box as i tried to pull it out. well i gues one way of getting the message through is for everyone to keep ringing up and asking for the same, if you want one it is is 0800 505555. a freephone number so you can chat to them for hours about this and IAMS etc at their expense. Tescos turnover went up 6% this year. 6% that had to come from somewhere else and i am sure many small shops lost out. remember to shop from your local wholefood shop or ethnic shops and keep them alive. i irks me the way the big stores just dont get it. our local just dropped Whole Earth organic baked beans and took on Heinz Organic ones instead. the WE ones were sugar free and the originals, breaking ground [ ... and not to say breaking wind ] way before the likes of Heinz wanted their cut of the market. another multinational. likewise Tesco's organic team seems to want to try and make replicant organic junk food rather than real proper food rather missing the wholefood point of it. actually, the list of foods are too difficult and painful ... pretty useless in truth. would you trust list of " Animal Free Products " that lists all dairy foods, or a vegan list that list " Fresh Stock " under a heading " Meat Products " and of course only include Tesco's own rather than all other brands they stock too. god, it is enough to pack one off back to bed with a " poor me ... nobody loves me complex for the day " . we really dont belong in this world folks. john
